Hollydish Releases "Red Ready Rare" – The Third Single from Real Eyes Realize Real Lies

Hollydish is back with "Red Ready Rare", the third single from her upcoming re-release of Real Eyes Realize Real Lies. This track is something truly special—a genre-blending song created entirely with live instruments and performed by her band, The What! -  Featuring Anton Stöger on drums, Florian Drude on bass, and longtime collaborator Joscha Christian Blachnitzky (The Aleph) on guitar, the song captures a magical, one-of-a-kind moment of pure creativity.

THRIVE is out now!

The Aleph’s LOVE IS RISING project continues with its third single, THRIVE—and this one is something truly special.

LOVE IS RISING is more than just a music project—it’s a global collaboration uniting artists from all over the world. Starting in October 2024, a new single is being introduced every month, with each song featuring different artists. The one constant is the theme: LOVE. Born out of the challenges we’ve all faced between 2020 and 2024, this project is about raising the frequency of this realm. Love is the energy that overcomes separation and division. Love never fails.

Produced entirely by The Aleph, LOVE IS RISING is about connecting through music and reminding us all: ONE LIFE. ONE LOVE. ONE DESTINY.

This month’s single, THRIVE, features the smooth Mediterranean-inspired beats of Greek-based collective CHILLONIA and a show-stopping performance by Canadian MC Hollydish.

Hollydish has always had a way with words. Born Holly Israella Fagan, her love affair with lyricism started early and became a lifelong calling. From recording and performing in Vancouver alongside some of the city’s top DJs and emcees to performing over 100 gigs in Hawaii with “Crazy Fingers” (featuring Deon Estus and Rikah), Hollydish has continually pushed boundaries with her raw honesty and empowering messages.

Her collaboration with The Aleph goes back years, starting with their album Real Eyes Realize Real Lies. Their chemistry, persistence, and shared vision have created some unforgettable music, and THRIVE is no exception. With Hollydish’s soulful, empowering lyrics and a timeless boom bap vibe, this track feels both fresh and nostalgic—a reminder of the power of music to unite and inspire.

THRIVE is more than just a song—it’s a call to action. It’s time for humanity to rise up, let go of old paradigms, and embrace the energy of love so we can finally thrive together.

Hollydish Drops "Too Much Too Soon" – The Second Single from the Upcoming Re-Release of Real Eyes Realize Real Lies

Following the announcement of the re-release of her iconic album Real Eyes Realize Real Lies, Montreal’s own Hollydish is back with the second single, "Too Much Too Soon". Produced by German beat wizard David Bärschneider, this track dives deep into hip-hop’s golden era with a beat crafted entirely from handpicked vinyl samples, chopped and sequenced on the legendary MPC.

"Too Much Too Soon" is a masterclass in old-school authenticity, blending Hollydish’s razor-sharp lyricism with a nostalgic, boom-bap soundscape. The single echoes the gritty soul of classic hip-hop while infusing it with Hollydish’s signature storytelling and undeniable charisma. As a seasoned lyricist, Hollydish channels themes of ambition, timing, and self-awareness, offering a deeply relatable narrative over Bärschneider’s meticulously crafted production.

Hollydish—born Holly Israella Fagan—has carved a dynamic path in the music industry, performing across Vancouver, Maui, New York, and Germany. Her collaborations with top-tier talent have cemented her reputation as a lyricist with a deep love for the art of storytelling, as showcased on her upcoming album re-release, Real Eyes Realize Real Lies.
